Dartmouth Health Connect is an adult primary care practice created to improve care for Dartmouth College employees and their adult family members. Dartmouth Health Connect opened its doors in Hanover, NH in March 2012 and now serves over 1,300 patients. Our Hanover, NH practice is now looking to hire a full-time Clinical/ Operations Assistant.
The Operations Assistant serves as a key member of the practice team. As the name
describes, this person?s primary responsibilities include clinical and operational support for the practice Health Coaches and team leadership.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
? Performing all phlebotomy and point of care lab testing
? Receiving incoming calls/messages and appropriately addressing or directing phone requests including requests for appointments, form completion, and medication refills
? Initiating outbound administrative requests, by phone and in writing, such as medical record requests, managing referrals, and specialty appointment booking
? Handling incoming mail and faxes, including scanning and appropriate e-filing
? Providing information for patients interested in joining the practice
? Assisting with the management of office and medical supplies, as needed
? Other duties as assigned
? Appreciates and can deliver excellent customer service
? 100+ needlesticks or phlebotomy certification required
? Must be tech savvy and willing to learn simple technical problem solving. Familiarity with Apple a plus
? Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills both in-person and by phone
? Must have the ability to work well as a member of a team and independently
? Must have exceptional organizational, problem-solving and time management skills and must be able to appropriately prioritize responsibilities
? Must be flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, change and willing to learn new skills
