Position Description
Clinical Inside Solution Specialist is responsible for working with the regional CSPs and inside sales team to achieve overall EHR license and revenue sales goals. Focus to include demonstration and clinical support as deemed appropriate for the CSPs and inside sales teams. Sets expectations with each CSP, develops demo strategizes with their senior leadership, monitors demonstration and sales results, and ensures appropriate support to the end result. Helps coordinate training and support needs throughout the sales cycle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical performance of as it relates to sales and after sales client care.
- Oversee customer interaction and demo strategies. Work to developing the strategy of cross merchandise the portfolio and brand awareness as needed within the market segment.
- Develop and implement specific plans to drive EHR revenue growth in that assigned territory. Maintain an mobile presence with key leaders as needed.
- Monitor sales, additional services, conversions and revenue recognition goals. Review pipeline/funnel health of the current activities via cadence methodology.
- Monitor and support training goals, implementation timelines, customer satisfaction and retention and NPS scores.
- Help develop and manage the process to support, monitor and drive lead conversion/timeframes and overall sales activity.
- Establish expectations with existing and new partners for generating & qualifying new leads.
- Develop and/or recommend regional sales programs and promotions that are needed to achieve goals.
- Monitor and develop a cadence/forecasting methodology with the use of a CRM tool to provide real time activity through monthly dashboard and weekly funnel reviews with Inside Sales Manager and Epocrates senior management. Manage performance through a repeatable and scalable process
- Develop, manage and monitor the process to resolve regional partner conflict. Work to prevent and resolve conflict between the direct and indirect sales channels as they arise.
- Manage administrative issues and ongoing support challenges. Identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Define optimal product strategy and mix for each region of responsibility and identify new resources as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business, Medical Technology/Healthcare IT or related field or the equivalent in education and years of experience. M.B.A also desirable.
- At least five (5) years experience in clinical application sales within the ambulatory space or IT Healthcare. Associate experience in Billing, RCM or related knowledge fields.
- EHR/PM/ RCM and billing experience as it relates to partner management is necessary.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Formal understanding of a CRM tool as it relates to pre and post sales strategies and account management
- Capability to differentiate from competition business models and products.
- Thorough knowledge of physician workflow within the entire office environment. The ability to differentiate front office from back office.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to form excellent customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability of a consultative demonstration approach in previous positions with the capability of understanding the cloud based technology of the ambulatory EHR market segment.
- Background in Billing/PM and RCM.
- Work out of the San Mateo office or remote as needed
