Clinical Laboratory Trainer Precision Therapeutics

The Opportunity:
The purpose of the Clinical Laboratory Trainer is to provide support for continuous training improvement and serve as the key point of contact for the Clinical Laboratory Technicians.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Development and organization of comprehensive training program to ensure high proficiency and competency of technicians in the clinical laboratory
- Development and maintenance of the training manual and materials associated with the program
- Work with Clinical Laboratory Management to identify training needs for new and existing technicians
- Measure and track performance of technicians
- Organize and may conduct training sessions in a classroom or laboratory setting
- Build a reference library of training materials
- Participate in the transfer of new enhancements to the laboratory by building appropriate training sessions
- Identify and establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program
- Training program must comply with regulatory requirements for CIA and NYSDH certified laboratories
- Other dues as assigned

Qualifications:

- Education

o Bachelors degree in Biology or related field with 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting

- Experience:

o Previous experience managing a training program or equivalent teaching experience
