Location: West Houston Call Center
Clinical Liaison use exemplary clinical experience and customer service skills to help patients receive the right imaging exams. HealthHelp, a leading Radiology Benefit Management company, operates two fast-paced, in-bound call centers in the Houston area as well as several virtual clinical review staff in multiple states. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts clinical review of cases that do not meet criteria
Provide assistance with CSR questions related to clinical information obtained during a High Tech Imaging procedure request.
Performs clinical intake and reviews cases according to the policies and procedures of HH
Collects and enters confidential information ensuring the highest level of confidentiality in all areas
Refers cases to a Clinical Reviewer per HH guidelines
Maintains written documentation according to HH?s documentation policy
Provides ongoing education to Contact Center CSR?s related to HH?s Clinical Review process
Assists Clinical Call Center Management with execution of QA/QI projects
Participates and understands scope of responsibility in all ongoing QI Projects
Prior experience in direct clinical care preferred
Extensive knowledge of CPT / ICD-9 Coding
Computer experience required
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Current license/certification as a healthcare professional a plus
