At Precision, our Comprehensive Tumor Profiling product line has been proven to increase life. This Clinical Oncology Specialist role will be responsible for achieving and maximizing territory / account sales goals through volume focused account management, clinical proficiency and effective selling for our Oncology product line. Our Sales process has multiple call points such as physicians, pathologists, OR technicians and your hospital/office staff. So we need that Go-Getter mentality combined with that Relationship Builder type person that can be accountable to our product line and ensure that the Quality and Accuracy of each account is upheld. In this position the ideal person will focus their time on both the Acquisition of new accounts as well as the field support of implementation and maintenance of existing accounts at the direction of the Regional Business Director.
Successful candidates must possess significant attention to details, be coachable, and understand that hard work (a 55+ hour work week) should and will be rewarded here at Precision Therapeutics, Inc. Candidates must demonstrate a consistent track record of strong sales performance, with product launch experience preferred. The candidate must be able to facilitate and lead relevant discussions on the Clinical and Life-Prolonging benefits of promoted products and work closely with account managers, marketing, and leadership to present consistent data to the customer. The candidate must also possess advanced account management skills including but not limited to: leadership, communication, and influence. The ideal person will also be responsible for organizing their territory routing for most effective use of time to maximize sales impact in specified geographical territories.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct field contact with Doctors/Pathologists/OR Staff in the field of Oncology.
Will spend 70% of time on Business Development and 30% In-servicing new clients/facilities in the field.
Expected to meet and exceed target plans with existing customers in the role of account maintenance.
Will be responsible for management of time and tasks throughout day in order to enhance user's knowledge of the processes and procedures to follow when utilizing our product.
Manage client communications and relationships while using professional and clinical skills to solve client issues.
Respond to physician office and pathology requests, redirecting when appropriate.
Establish and Maintain relationships with physicians that will allow optimal product use and volume flow that will meet and/or exceeding targeted goals.
Consistently achieve territory sales goals and objectives.
Integrate processes with sales specialists and client services in order to maintain seamless and effective communications with customers.
Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal departments.
2-3 years business to business sales experience.
Have a Fearless Mentality to win over the client/customer.
Must be willing to work a 55+ hour work week.
Passion for Sales.
Organized and motivated.
Highly detail oriented.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Well-developed and effective communication skills: phone, email, documentation, and in-person.
Ability to travel extensively within territory.
Strong work ethic and customer focus.
History of outstanding achievements and proven sales skills.
Comfortable in presenting decision support tools to buyers.
Passion for personalized medicine in the field of cancer.
Marketing or Science Degree a plus.
Military Experience can replace any requirements on degrees.
General Science and Oncology terminology.
Medical, Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical sales experience.
Products launch experience.
