EyeNetra's agile product development requires intensive clinical research at the end of each one of our two-week sprints. Our IRB-approved side-by-side sprint studies are performed in partnership with many research institutions in the US and in India. As a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), you will be responsible for conducting clinical trials using good clinical practice under the auspices of the site's Principal Investigator. The CRC is the heart and soul of the research study. It is the CRC who carries forward the research goals and its statistical analysis, thereby playing a significant role in the success of the sprint's evaluation. Working very closely with the CTO, software, mechanical and electrical engineers, your goal is to ensure the maximum performance in our weekly clinical evaluations as well as determine the product specifications for the next iteration of devices.
Design and lead the clinical evaluation of our devices in multiple sites
Work with PI's and local IRB committees to submit new trials and ensure maximum efficiency
Evaluates all data forms for completeness and quality of data.
Organizes study procedures and schedules study participants for study visits.
Monitors and maintain accuracy and completeness of databases.
Assist investigators in compiling the data.
Assist investigators in preparing articles for journal publication.
Responsible for recruitment of study participants for enrollment in clinical trials.
Skills and Qualifications
Medical/clinical background or a Bachelor's degree in a medically related field
Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented; strong interpersonal and computer skills.
Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating multiple clinical trials.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with key team members for rapid iterations.
Plus: Master's degree in Public Health.
Plus: Experience with statistical analysis.
Plus: Opthalmology or optometry backgrounds.
Plus: Programming experience.
