Clinical Research Program Manager Singulex

Internally, work with the Vice President of Clinical research to manage external collaborations (projects) with clinical researcher in the academia.
Externally, represent Singulex to academic collaborators by preparing and delivering project proposals, project updates, and project reports.
Specific job duties include:
Managing day in/out activities related to collaborations with external academic partners.
Preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports as needed to support projects.
Participation in meetings and teleconferences to determine scope and deliverables for projects.
Researching background literature to understand the biology underlying projects.
Preparation of project proposals.
Preparation of interim and final project reports.
Provide guidance to internal Assay Development teams.
Track each project according to timelines and budgets.
Preparation of reports and other formal communications as needed to support clinical projects.
MS/Ph.D. in biological sciences (biology, biotechnology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, etc.) or other health science degree such as Registered Nurse with at least 1-2 plus years of relevant hands-on experience managing scientific/clinical programs & projects. This experience must include in-depth experience in biomarkers and clinical research. A lesser degree will be considered with 5+ years of spot on RELEVANT experience.
Broad knowledge across numerous human disease areas.
Experience managing technical projects and, ideally, first-hand knowledge and experience managing clinical studies or collaborations with academic centers.
Must be knowledgeable in basic biomarker assay principles and bio- statistical methods.
Track record of being able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deliverables.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word programs is essential.
