HealthHelp?s Clinical Review/Chemotherapy Nurse plan, direct, and coordinate patient care activities through healthcare utilization management in a corporate (call center) telephonic environment while ensuring adherence to established policies, criteria, protocols, regulations, and standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Interview, and assess patients? clinicals to identify care needs
Collaborate with other health care professionals and service providers to ensure optimal patient healthcare network utilization.
Evaluate medical records of patients in collaboration with other health care professionals.
Read current literature, talk with colleagues or participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in nursing.
Develop or assist others in development of care and treatment plans.
Plan, evaluate or modify treatment programs based on information gathered by consulting with care network, interviewing patients, or by analyzing patient records.
Make clinical recommendations to physicians, other health care providers, insurance companies and patients.
Maintain departmental policies, procedures and objectives.
Present clients with information required to make informed health care and treatment authorization decisions.
Prepare reports to document patients' care activities.
Participate in clinical research projects such as by reviewing protocols, reviewing patient records, monitoring compliance, and meeting with regulatory authorities.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.

License LVN, RN, or LPN
Minimum 24 months in a clinical environment
5 continuous years of work in a Chemotherapy Nurse capacity
Must have worked in a clinical environment within the past 12 months (to date)
