Breathe Technologies, Inc., is a developer and manufacturer of innovative medical technologies for treating lung diseases and sleep-disordered breathing. The company was founded in January 2005, and their ventilator, featuring the company?s proprietary, open-airway platform, is cleared for use in both the institutional and homecare settings. Position openings are in the California and Pennsylvania markets.
SCOPE OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Director, Marketing & Sales (Ventilation), the Clinical Sales Representative is responsible for selling products, features and benefits, while driving market share increase. Should foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information in order to optimize business strategies and drive overall sales within specific territories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage expansion of sales territory to optimize business strategies by generating leads through clinical networking.
? Plan best method of sales approach for potential clinical customers through cold calling, in-house sale visits, demonstrations, etc.
? Plan the strategy to increase market shares.
? Present and demonstrate to potential clinical customers the advantage of Breathe?s ventilator system compared to current ventilator systems within the market, in tradeshows and other venues.
? Report weekly sales.
? Train clinical customers in the use and service of Breathe?s ventilator systems.
? Analyze potential profit margins of clinical customers and qualify credit ability.
? Refer definite sales contractual agreements to the Finance Department for negotiation purposes.
? Communicate to clinical customers of new Breathe products as they enter market.
? Refer customers to appropriate department for product servicing.
SKILLS / APTITUDES:
? Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
? Proven track record of sales achievement (documented)
? Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated
? Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and effectively communicate within the organization
? Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver results
? Demonstrate ability to analyze profit margins of potential clinical customers.
Demonstrated technical aptitude and strong computer skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor?s degree in Sales/Marketing, Bachelor?s of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Associates degree in Respiratory Care
? Minimum 5 years experience in outside sales in healthcare
? Experience in educating or selling to Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapist or other clinicians.
? Must have a good driving record. ? Certified Respiratory Therapist preferred.
