We currently have a full time position available in our Springfield, MA facility for a Clinical Supervisor.
The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to the clinical staff, as well as individual, group and family therapy to a small patient caseload.

We are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor to work in our outpatient addiction treatment program and act as a mentor to our Clinical Substance Abuse Counseling team.
Habit OPCO provides rehabilitation treatment services on an outpatient basis for patients with drug addictions, enabling them to function normally in society. Our highly-trained professionals, many of whom are Masters-prepared, provide individual, group and family counseling focused on addiction, recovery, and related personal, family, and vocational issues.

Our philosophy is based on the fact that methadone, combined with life skills counseling, has been shown to be the best treatment available for opiate-dependent individuals. As a Clinical Supervisor at Habit OPCO, you will become an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team, helping patients to address not only their physical addiction, but also the psychological and social aspects of this complex disorder and its many consequences. You will be involved with patients throughout their entire recovery process and have the opportunity to develop long-term therapeutic relationships with many of them.

Clinical Supervisor - Substance Abuse Counseling
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Clinical Supervisor, you will work in consultation with the clinical, operational, and medical directors, nurses, and other members of our treatment team to create and monitor the individualized treatment plans that are best suited to assist each patient in overcoming his or her addiction.

Job Requirements
As a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, you must have the ability to cultivate positive and productive therapeutic relationships with patients while always maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. You must also be self-motivated; possess strong time-management and organizational skills; and have the ability to manage a high volume of client interactions.
It will also be critical in the role of a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor that you have strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal instincts that will allow you to function effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, intense work environment. We?re looking for a problem-solver with a positive attitude, someone who is open to receiving feedback and incorporating new treatment approaches; who enjoys leading group counseling sessions; and who has demonstrated success working with diverse populations.
Specific qualifications for the Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor position include:
Master?s degree and 1+ years of substance abuse counseling experience OR a Bachelor?s degree in a related field with 3+ years of substance abuse counseling experience.
Drug and Alcohol Certification or Licensure Strongly Preferred
Experience Working in a Methadone Program a Plus
Bilingual in Spanish a Plus
Familiarity with Clinic Management Software a Plus
Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) & the Desire/Ability to Learn New Software
