Clinical Support Specialist Vivax Medical Corporation
Job Description:Working with acute care and rehabilitation facilities in Connecticut and the Northeast, the clinical specialist will help nurse executives, doctors and nurse managers reduce falls and harm from falls by implementing our Soma Care program. By attending regular rounds including falls team meetings, safety huddles, clinical grand rounds on a weekly basis in contracted facilities, the clinical specialist will work closely with caregivers to develop and implement proven and documented fall reduction strategies. Our unique program of evidence based data analysis and fall reduction strategies have greatly improved the quality of care and reduced costs in our partner facilities. The program will be initiated in Connecticut this year and rolled out nationally next year. This is a ground floor opportunity to grow with a well-established and exciting company beginning a new division and positively impacting quality of care.
Requirements:
B.S. in nursing plus 5 or more years of acute care hospital experience with some supervisory/management experience.
