Position Summary: The Clinical Technology Consultant position is a field based position that covers demonstrating Zonare Premium Ultrasound systems and accessories, software, transducers and service. It also covers educating and training customers on the ?knobology? of the ultrasound systems.
Major Responsibilities:
The Clinical Technology Consultant/Sonographer will be responsible for scanning of test subjects related to clinical evaluations.
The Clinical Technology Consultant will also provide input on ultrasound product development and design and work closely with Engineering to ensure that clinical needs are incorporated into product design. Includes clinical input to user interface design, clinical feature specifications, product optimization, clinical input to operator manual, training of regional applications leaders, and management of clinical product evaluation sites.
Responsibilities include preparing for demonstrations, assisting and performing demonstrations in conjunction with their Zone Sales Representative.
Responsibilities include training and educating the customers to use the equipment is also a key part of the job responsibility.
The Clinical Technology Consultant is also responsible for providing support at conferences and seminars.
The Clinical Technology Consultant will also be responsible for supporting the Zone Sales Representative in maintain the customer satisfaction within their territory.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree
Five years of clinical experience
Commercial sales experience preferred
RDMS or RVT registry a must
RDCS registry preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong work ethic
Good organizational skills
Working Conditions:
The Clinical Technology Consultant is able to perform most job functions from either their home or in the field with customers.
Must be available to work irregular hours and also be able to travel extensively as needed. Required travel is approximately 50% of the time.
