About the role
We are looking for an experienced Pre-sales Solutions Architect to be technical lead on our Secure Cloud Container Solution sales. This solution comprises both software and complementary services designed to build software defined networks, help customers with virtual image automation and transformation, incorporate their applications into our "cloud container", and plug it into one or more of the major cloud or virtualization platforms, or both!
VNS3 let you manage your cloud deployment with your data center resources as if running locally. By separating network location from network identity users can achieve cloud mobility and agility without any compromise. VNS3 doesn't require new knowledge or training to implement, so you can integrate with existing network equipment.
VNS3 provides SDN capabilities to allow users to control addressing, topology, protocols and encrypted communications from the application layer.
You need to have the foundation knowledge and experience of enterprise software sales, including:
Strong technical background with a minimum of 48 months proven track record as presales engineer/solutions architect experience with enterprise software ISVs.
Knowledge of IaaS, multi-tier, multi-server architectures.
Proven success of selling solutions combining software and services.
Strong customer communication skills; listening, verbal, written and presentation, and an ability to translate technical complexity to layman's terms.
Preference for candidates with:
Experience of paid professional services roles.
Internet visible technical blog or open source project participation.
Degree in a relevant field - but willing to talk to experienced "wildcards" who can deliver despite the lack of academic credentials.

Elasticity, as in a willingness to take ownership and be proactive.
