Cloud Evangelist and Community Manager Netuitive
The Netuitive Cloud Evangelist & Community Manager will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for the promotion and development of the Netuitive Cloud user community. This person will lead the crafting of the messaging and of the positioning for Netuitive Cloud and of the development of the user community. He/she will conceive and develop innovative engagement programs that drive adoption.
Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is crucial. The Netuitive Cloud Evangelist & Community Manager will be the expert in users, how they engage and buy and will transfer that knowledge to the rest of the organization (Marketing, Product Management, Support).
The following represent some key initiatives over the next 12 to 18 months that are critical to the success of the Netuitive Cloud solution:
Community Development ? develop an engagement and education strategy and set of programs to promote Netuitive Cloud. Continuously engage with users, attend meet-ups and engage on social platforms.
Solution definition ? Anticipate market needs and contribute to the definition of the solution roadmap. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Netuitive Cloud in the market.
Product launch ? assist with the launch of Netuitive Cloud and of subsequent integrations and key service improvements.
Market intelligence ? be the expert on the users and buyers, how they engage and their buying criteria; be the expert on competition and how to effectively compete and win.
Demand generation ? develop the strategy and help manage the engagement and marketing programs that drive demand for Netuitive Cloud.
Thought leadership ? leverage industry events, meet ups, opinion leaders, analysts, user communities, social media and the press to develop increasing awareness of Netuitive Cloud.
Sales enablement ? communicate the value proposition of Netuitive Cloud to the inside and outside sales teams and develop the tools that support the promotion as well as the future selling process of Netuitive Cloud.
The successful candidate for this position will work out of our Reston, VA office and will have the following combination of experiences, skills and attributes:
Proven experience in IT Operations Management coupled with at least 2 years experience in Technology Evangelism or Product Marketing roles, either with internal or external (preferred) customers.
This person must be familiar with DevOps practices and come from an environment in which solutions are promoted at the IT Operations level.
Experience within the new customer engagement models that have emerged in the systems management software space, led by companies such as Splunk, New Relic and AppDynamics.
Proven experience leveraging SaaS as part of market awareness and seeding strategies.
Experience engaging with product management, systems and support organizations, including contributing to the definition of user requirements for new products.
Very strong written communication skills.
Willing to travel 15-20% of time.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams and third-parties.
Bachelor?s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, and/or marketing.
