Job Description:
The successful candidate will occupy a key role supporting CMC development ensuring that projects move forward within and across functions. This role is critical to the success of our CMC group and offers the opportunity to:
?Work directly with clinical development teams to merge CMC and clinical development into integrated project plans
?Support CMC and clinical project planning for regulatory filings in the US and ROW
?Support the development and execution of the radiopharmaceutical supply chain in the US and throughout the world
?Join a highly talented team of scientists and leaders developing new molecular imaging agents capable of detecting the pathology associated with serious chronic diseases
?Interface daily with senior leadership
Duties:
?Accountable for leading CMC teams in establishing clear scope of work, and leading the delivery of project milestones on time, on budget, and within scope through utilization of project management tools
?Effectively present strategy and plans to CMC vice president and Avid Sr. Management
?Identify and monitor critical path, utilizing MSProject. Develop contingency plans when the project deviates from that path
?Understand the commercial and customer needs of the project and integrating the learning to development of project plans
?Effectively identify, manage, and escalate upward and cross-functional communications
?Build and maintain effective teams: motivate, recognize, coach & mentor team members and associates
?Share learning and optimize practices within and across teams and within the project management function
?Coordinate internal and Avid-Lilly discussions, and document and communicate key takeaways to relevant constituents
Requirements:

?Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
?At least 2 years? experience within a CMC department or group with hands on experience in chemical drug development
?Demonstrated project management experience with a complex manufacturing development processes. Experience in radiopharmaceuticals a plus
?Excellent computer skills (e.g., Excel, Project)
?Superior written and verbal communication skills
?Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
?Ability to work both independently and in a team focused environment
?Some travel required (less than 20%)
