The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for a CMS Sales Engineer to join our team in Waltham, MA. You will be actively involved in communicating with new and existing Telerik Sitefinity CMS customers. As an engineer by heart and a business person by occupation, you will identify customers? technical needs and business objectives while demonstrating how Sitefinity CMS maps to these requirements.
If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as a CMS Sales Engineer:
? Created customized product demonstrations for prospective customers
? Provided technical support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle
? Identified customers? technical challenges and needs in order to design a customized selling strategy
? Developed internal presentations for key stakeholders and senior executives
? Worked with clients to identify problems and suggested appropriate corrective measures
? Responded to requests for proposals and requests for information from prospects & customers
? Positioned Sitefinity CMS throughout the sales cycle
? Provided customers with up to date information about the product, pricing and licensing model
? Researched competing products and provided competitor analysis reports to the marketing and development teams
? Generated, qualified, managed, and closed sales deals
? Made a positive contribution to Telerik?s support team and its exemplary reputation
You will be the person who has (a):
? A degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration or related field
? Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and/or prior programming knowledge in HTML, ASP, ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET)
? Knowledge of JavaScript, XML and CSS will be considered highly advantageous
? Experience with Web Content Management software
? Previous background in a technical customer-oriented position is required
? Outstanding presentation skills and experience in the delivery of complex technical and sales oriented presentations
? Self-driven personality who enjoys working with people
? Technical writing skills are a big plus, but are not required
