CNC Engineer/Programmer Thermacore
CNC Engineer will be a key contributor to product manufacturing cells. Candidate will help to manufacture a wide range of related products, which requires numerous tooling and fixture changes. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with leadership qualities, 2+ years of experience machining non-ferrous metals. Applicant must have a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school and at least two years of related experience, or a minimum of five years CNC programming and operation.
Essential skills:
? Proficient in machine programming software such as Gibbs, Mastercam, or SolidWorks
? Capable of programming from blueprints for lathes and milling machines (horizontal and vertical machining); has knowledge of geometric tolerance
? Has a knowledge of all phases of equipment and is capable of all types of set-ups, light maintenance and is capable of working to close tolerances.
? Technical abilities associated with machining capabilities, scheduling, material, and quality shop operations in a manufacturing environment.
? Able to act upon root cause and corrective analysis
? Competent in working with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality to establish machining methods and procedures while maintaining quality and low costs for customers.
