Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting up, operating and programming CNC machines for the tooling operations group
- Must be proficient at all types of drilling, tapping and milling
- Must be able to complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
- Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5-10 years of experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Mill and lathe machines
- Highly preferring HAAS machining experience
- 5 axis programming is a plus (but not required)
- Ability to read and work off of a blueprint
- Strong interpersonal skills including, but not limited to, contributing to a team-oriented environment, balancing team and individual responsibilities.
- Physical Requirements: Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting
- Ability to work all hours, shifts, and overtime, as needed
