Description
Brightcove is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist the Finance team with collections, credit card order processing, and responding to customer inquiries.
Other responsibilities may include data entry, cash application, reporting, customer setup and contract entry.
Responsibilities
- Performs collection of accounts receivable for an assigned group of customers
- Manages upgrades, downgrades and cancellations of customer accounts
- Works with customers to resolve past due accounts and avoid the placement of customers on suspension.
- Identifies uncollectible amounts and timely submits for suspension
- Identifies potential upsell opportunities for sales
- Acts as the first point of contact for external customers directing them to on-line support and documentation
- Reports on collection, account changes, and cancellation trends
Qualifications
- Professional phone etiquette with a confident, friendly tone
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to resolve conflicts in a productive and professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Open to work part-time for 30 hours/week for six months
