Manage third-party collection agency partners and internal early stage collections staff
Analyze and manage collection activity to continually improve performance and set best-in-class industry standard
Coordinate agency placements and develop controls to ensure accurate and timely processes and reporting
Maintain and manage collection policy and procedures and ensure adherence to them both internally and externally.
Provide regular performance reporting to senior management and enhance collections reporting to external clients
Develop loan modification and debt sale programs and work with partners to implement
Work closely with credit department and provide performance feedback loop
Conduct site visits of third-party agencies for compliance and performance reviews.
Maintain up-to-date expertise and knowledge of collection laws, rules, regulations, and developments.
Required skills and experience include:
5+ years collections experience for a consumer credit card or unsecured loan portfolio.
3+ years experience managing third-party collection agencies.
BA/BS or higher in related field

Very strong process development, project management, analytical and management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
Ability to make sound and evaluative judgments; strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent knowledge of FDCPA/FCRA procedures, documentation, and standards.
Proficient with MS Office; expert in Microsoft Excel
Artiva/Ontario Systems experience a plus
