If this sounds like you, then continue to read on!The Telerik team is growing and we are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in Waltham, MA. This person will work closely with the Finance/Accounting team based in the US and also interact with offices abroad.
If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as a Collections Specialist:
? Contacted customers on past due invoices in assigned accounts
? Contacted re-sellers weekly with updated statements
? Completed account reconciliations
? Resolved disputed invoice issues
? Researched outstanding balances and take appropriate collection action to resolve in a timely manner; made necessary demographic changes to customer accounts to ensure future collections
? Recommended accounts for credit hold, license deactivations, or collections agency
? Interfaced directly with sales, order processing and customer service
? Ensured daily progress toward company goals for cash collections and overdue A/R
? Utilized most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open invoices
? Identified patterns of short-payment or non-payment and brought them to the attention of the Team Lead
? Reviewed residual account balances after payments are applied and generated adjustments within eligible guidelines
? Communicated to customers with overpayment notification, refund request, and/or secondary billing as needed
You will be the person who has (a/an):
? At least 2-3 years Collections experience
? Proven record of strong customer service skills in financial industry/setting
? Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP is considered highly advantageous
? Software industry knowledge is a plus
? Excellent communication skills demonstrated through proactivity and self-starter approach
? Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
? Team player mentality with a positive and helpful attitude
