From our Portland and San Francisco Coaching Centers, InsideTrack Coaches work with undergraduate and graduate students all over the country, delivering our prospective student coaching and enrolled student coaching services by phone. Several coaches work as a team with each partner college we serve to ensure the success of individual students and the campus as a whole. Coaches gain in-depth knowledge of the higher education arena and significantly improve their leadership ability and management expertise. As a Coach, not only will your students benefit from your coaching, but you?ll grow as a result of this challenging and rewarding career.
? Proactively work by phone to improve the conversion of prospects to applicants and improve the applicant-to-start rates for client colleges. Heavy phone work is involved
? Assist students in effectively navigating admissions and enrollment processes and ensure that they meet critical deadlines
? Facilitate frequent and productive interactions between students and school representatives including academic advisors and financial aid advisors
? Coach students on developing a plan to achieve their academic and career goals by managing academic and personal commitments
? Co-facilitate the partnership between InsideTrack and the client university through regular communication.
? Improve your coaching skills and manage your performance by pinpointing key areas of growth and actively participating in your own professional development
? Contribute to InsideTrack?s concept development and culture
? Meet targets for key performance activity metrics
This fast paced role requires the following Coach Characteristics:
? BA degree required with evidence of strong academic performance
Two years (2) experience in a service role or position in sales, retail, customer service or as a teacher, guidance or career counselor or related fields
Knowledge of college and higher education programs and curricula
Ability to handle large volume (phone work, prospects)
Takes initiative, and works independently to meet deadlines in a fast paced metrics-driven environment
Ability to engage prospects quickly, interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Ability to professionally present self and represent InsideTrack to clients both on the phone and in person.
Possesses strong business acumen
Possesses strong detail orientation and analytical skills
Must protect the confidentiality of student personal information and comply with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Must comply with all company procedures and policies, including company privacy and security policies
