onefinestay is looking for a Commercial Lead, reporting to the GM with overall responsibility for host growth in NYC. onefinestay hosts are interesting people with valuable homes. You?ll start out by spending significant time in the field meeting prospective hosts and explaining our service, but you?ll also be expected to build the overall sales function as have responsibility for NYC host marketing. This means a significant team building responsibility, and competence spanning sales execution and strategy, marketing & lead generation, partnerships and business development.
Key responsibilities
Overall responsibility for host growth, which means hitting aggressive targets while consistently acquiring homes that match our high standards
Building and managing a team of sales executives, & ensuring they remain motivated and inspired
Driving tactical marketing campaigns to generate host leads, including but not limited to: direct mail, events, partnerships, press and digital ad buys, and referral programs
Desired experience:
At least 4 years professional experience, with at least 2 years in a commercial role (sales, business development)
Start-up experience preferred ? high growth experience essential
Professional services / corporate finance experience a strong plus
Formidable knowledge of, fascination with and love for NYC real estate
Personal qualities:
A wolf in sheep?s clothes. You can effortlessly soft-sell on one hand, while managing to hard commercial targets on the other.
Love numbers, are commercially minded ? over-delivering on targets is why you come to work
Great with people, and an experienced leader of sales people. And you?ll also know how to motivate a team in a high pressure
There?s a lot of talking, to a lot of different people. So you?ll need to like it, and be good at it. You?ll be confident, reassuring and charming, and have the ability to build trust and rapport with people quickly and effectively
Excellent written communication skills.

Compensation:
