POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Product Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. The Sales Representative will generate and secure new sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers in the property management industry, specifically in the vacation rental market segment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with proactively selling solutions, cold-calling prospective clients and conducting lead follow-up through telemarketing and in person sales calls.
The Commercial Product Sales Representative will work closely with PointCentral leadership including the President and the VP of Sales and will be supported by a Sales Support Specialist for maximum sales effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales person who has an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys a high degree of independence and is looking for significant upside potential to bring a simple to use and high value add solution to a primed market.
This position can be based out of our offices in northern Virginia or Oregon or remote from a home office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Commercial Product Sales Representative's primary job responsibilities will include:
--Developing a database of target companies and customers in the vacation rental market composed primarily of professional vacation rental management and vacation rental management web services.
--Developing relationships with those target customers that lead to:
.)Webinar session
A.)Face to face sales call (system testing if necessary)
B.)Closing the transaction
--Meeting short-term and long-term transactions goals
--Coordinating with PointCentral project manager to ensure delivery and installation of PointCentral products and services
REQUIREMENTS
--College degree (BS or BA)
--5+ years industry experience (Property management - vacation rentals, real estate sales or supplier to these industries)
--Industry relationships
--Ability to travel (minimum of 50%)
--Proven sales experience and track record
--Modest technical acumen (Microsoft Office- PowerPoint presentations)
