Commercial Sales Manager Alteryx

The Commercial Sales Manager will report to the Director, Commercial Sales & Sales Operations and provide leadership and guidance to a dynamic inside sales team. The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for their team?s development and ability to effectively selling Alteryx solutions.
Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer?s business environment and needs and apply the business value of Alteryx is essential to success in this role. Ideal candidates possess the aptitude to easily engage and establish rapport executives and line of business professionals.

Responsible for the performance and development of the Commercial Sales Account Executives.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Conducts one-on-one review with all Commercial Sales Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Commercial Sales Account Executive?s sales and activity performance.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Teach Commercial Sales Account Executives how to prospect and create prospecting plans.
Assists Commercial Sales Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Recruits and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Travel required: Approximately 25%
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of managing a team that is prospecting and selling SaaS, enterprise software solutions, Business Intelligence, or Analytics software
Experience with forecasting and deal management
Experience with call and deal Coaching
Experience leading high transaction/volume teams with short sales cycles.
Consultative and solution prospecting/selling expertise
Marketing lead nurture and qualification
History of effectively managing a large territory, high volume of leads, and building/maintaining relationships
Superior written/oral communication and presentation skills.
Experience conducting account mapping and developing prospecting strategy
Capable of and eager to make dials daily with Account Executives
Systematic but flexible, self-directed; can prioritize and manage multiple work streams
Perseverant; handles objections and rejection
Thrives in a competitive team environment
Intuitive with the capacity to hit the ground running
