The Communications Manager develops and oversees implementation of communication strategies that successfully drive consumer engagement in RedBrick Health programs and services. In support of these strategies, the Communications Manager provides direction to the RedBrick creative team while managing client relationships and expectations. The Communications Manager is familiar with industry standards and best practices, and is able to apply these concepts to meet the individual needs of each client.
Essential Job Functions
Communications Strategy and Planning
Work closely with approximately 10 clients to design and implement communications strategies and detailed tactical plans to drive better businiess results through consumer engagement, focus and commitment.
Able to understand complex reports and monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications through established measurement tools.
Serve as the key resource for communications best practices and branding so that appropriate guidelines are being followed.
Manage day-to-day client relationships relative to their communications needs.
Work closely with the rest of the account team to ensure all client commitments and expectations are being met.
Possess a professional demeanor and are comfortable with presenting at all levels to external organizations.
Work with the RedBrick Health standard communications catalog to create communications tailored to clients, which involves modifying standard communications to accurately reflect each client?s program and to present a comprehensive offering.
Proven ability to translate communication strategies into effective tactical plans.
Adhere to established processes and deadlines for creating and executing on RedBrick standard communications, including, print, email, etc.
Keep detailed records of the status of each tactical/project and all the corresponding deadlines, both internal and external.
Client communication budget management; approval and tracking of vendor expenses (print, event collateral, etc.)
Essential Job Requirements:
Requires a bachelor?s degree in communications, marketing, business or related field, and a minimum of seven years of communications experience preferably in health care.
Requires the ability to think programmitically and execute tactically as well as work with and manage the expectations of a wide variety of constituents.
Must be a strong team player who is excellent at multi-tasking and eacher and williing to wear multiple hats at once.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment centered on open communication and collaboration.
Strong proofing and editorial skills
Excellent project managment experience
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
