COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER Magnetic
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Magnetic, a digital ad technology company is looking for a communications manager to join their fast growing marketing team.
This is a leadership position that will serve as the main liaison and point person for multiple aspects of Magnetics? outbound and internal communications. The Communications Manager/Director will report to the Head of Marketing for Magnetic and work closely with the larger marketing team to develop and execute on communication initiatives.
The Communications Manager/Director is responsible for managing multiple facets of the company?s MarCom strategy, which includes overseeing the relationship of Magnetic?s retained PR firm, and developing content for various marketing activities from email communications (campaigns), website content, the creation of whitepapers, writing bylined articles and case studies to the creation of speaking abstracts based on the most current digital / advertising trends. Additional responsibilities include working with other members of the team to ensure that the Magnetic brand and its core messaging are aligned across company events, sponsorships, and other partner engagements.

? Oversee & manage Magnetic?s retained PR firm
? Website management ? continuously create stream of fresh web site content
? Develop and maintain outbound communication through email campaigns, white papers, industry articles, case studies, speaking abstracts and additional marketing materials
? Assist in content creation for company, sales, and speaking presentations
? Work with members of the marketing team to align communications with events and social media strategies
? Develop market insights for internal use and to drive thought leadership through outbound communications
? Work with the marketing team to evaluate marketing initiatives and quality value of various marketing efforts
Skills & Experience:
? Previous marketing and communications experience ? (minimum of 3-5 years, role/title dependent on level of experience).
? Previous experience working in the digital/media/advertising eco-system.
? Experience working in public relations a plus.
? Familiar with the digital advertising industry; knowledge of real-time bidding and ad-targeting technologies a plus.
? Necessary interest in reading and understanding trends within the digital advertising industry.
? Strong writer and communicator.
? Enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful; can be counted on to get the job done from start to finish.
? Ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
? Bachelor?s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing preferred.
? Basic knowledge of InDesign, Dreamweaver and Photoshop a plus.
? Skilled in developing PowerPoint presentations.
? Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines within a fast paced start-up environment.
