About the role:
The Huffington Post Tech team is looking for a Communities Developer summer intern!
The readers of The Huffington post write about 2 million comments per week and are part of what makes The Huffington Post so successful. Our Huffington Post Communities Developer will work closely with the AOL Machine Learning Team to help quantify and extract additional value from these comments to drive further engagement and revenue.
The Huffington Post has over 50 sections in the U.S. alone, covering politics, business, entertainment, environment, technology, media, lifestyle, culture, comedy, healthy living, women's interest, local news and so much more. The Huffington Post has spread its wings with editions in five other countries and in four different languages, with increased expansion on the way.

? Currently enrolled college junior,senior or 2013 graduate
? Strong math background preferred
? Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Mathematics or related degree
? A team player who is also comfortable working independently
? Passionate about learning new technologies
? Familiarity with MongoDB, probability and statistics a definite plus!
