Overview: Yardsellr is a social buy and sell site that is like Craigslist and eBay but much more fun and social. Yardsellr has built a community of over 3.5MM people who are passionate about everything from Star Trek, to Elvis, from NASCAR, to Jewelry, from Guitars, to Computers.
We are located in San Francisco (SOMA at 2nd and Brannan) with easy access to Caltrain, MUNI and BART lines.
We are hiring Community and Customer Service Specialists. There is an opportunity for strong performers to become full-time employees. The position is ideal for current college students interested in Business, Online Marketing and eCommerce.
Community & Customer Service Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Provide top notch customer service in a fast paced environment. This includes responding to email, interacting on community forums and engaging with customers on social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter).
? Ensure highest quality service experience to our customers instilling a positive member experience with each interaction.
? Engage and moderate questions about the Yardsellr platform including Yardsellr site functionality and policies.
? Troubleshoot and facilitate issue resolution with Community members.
? Seller Development, Support and Interaction.
Time Commitment:
? Available to work 20 to 30 Hours per week.
? Flexibility is key and must be available to work varied shifts, Weekends, including overtime and holidays.
? Opportunity for this position to convert to full-time based on performance.
The ideal Candidate:
? Self-starter and goal-oriented.
? A firm understanding of Facebook and other social media platforms.
? Strong ability to diagnose and solve technical issues.
? Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
? Thrives in a start-up environment (must be detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines).
? Background in Communications, Product and Business Administration preferred.
