Community Associate Passenger
Position SummaryThe Community Associate reports into an Account Director and will assist with the daily management of several communities. The Community Coordinator should be proficient in data analysis / reporting or creative document development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both while also possessing strong written communication skills.
The Community Associate should also have a passion for social networking and the online community space and an intellectual curiosity about the possibilities in Customer Collaboration as it relates to customer engagement and brand marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
? Assist with daily moderation tasks and provide updates on community status to account teams
? Perform daily maintenance checks to assure all communities are functioning correctly
? Manage basic member requests including forgotten passwords, product questions and login issues
? Layout and load weekly community HTML email updates and manage an ongoing opt-out list
? Assist in the development of writing project plans
? Track community results via spreadsheets and other forms of data input tools
? Synthesize raw event data into graphs and charts and other filterable formats
? Customize and create HTML design templates for reporting and email communication
? Become a student of online communities, share your knowledge and gain competitive insight
? Participate in beta testing new product releases
? General administration duties, as requested
Requirements
? At least 1 year experience in social media, marketing, marketing research, data analysis, technology or communications
? Excellent writing skills, with an eye for proofreading and grammar
? Excellent skills in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (provide examples)
? Internet and technology savvy with an understanding of chat rooms, blogs, social networking sites and consumer communities and a passion for the space
? Strong computer skills is a must, basic HTML experience is a plus
