At AddThis you'll collaborate with our marketing and user experience teams to engage and grow our existing communities, promote new features, products and outreach online and at events, and organize feedback to help us continue to evolve some of the world?s most popular consumer engagement tools and services.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product team to proactively develop our blog and social media channels as core communication vehicles for AddThis
Author blog posts, newsletters, and social media channel updates
Develop strategies to manage social media profiles and grow their audiences as distribution channels
Evaluate social channels and ensure that AddThis is communicating appropriately and in a timely manner
Serve as a user advocate by monitoring social channels, forwarding support issues and feedback to the appropriate teams, providing weekly updates to the product organization to help guide ongoing product roadmaps, and identifying opportunities for better engaging our customers
Utilize analytics and other tools to demonstrate and report on the efficacy and ROI of the efforts above
Work with marketing team to establish and prioritize community outreach channels for efficient building of brand and multiple audiences
Depending on level of experience, this role may also be responsible for some outreach and business development with CMS/blog platform developers and service providers
Plan and attend local events as a community ambassador and brand evangelist
Required Skills and Experience:
Two years experience managing social media channels and/or online communities, and incentivising user-generated content
Excellent communication, creative writing, and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience authoring community management guidelines and related documentation
Experience with social media monitoring software such as Hootsuite, Radian6, Buzzlogic
Experience establishing metrics and goals, gaining insights, and reporting back to a team
Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related field preferred
