The Community Manager role lives within iCrossing?s Social Strategy discipline dedicated to real-time marketing ? using analytics-based insights to engage audiences and communities. Teaming with iCrossing strategists, social strategists use analytics to guide ongoing conversations with audiences, as well as to inform the creation of relevant articles, interviews, tips, videos, infographs and other branded content.
Responsibilities:
Play an active role in developing innovative social media marketing strategies, based on inputs from clients, social media monitoring tools, competitive analysis, and secondary research
Work closely with client and internal teams to execute social media engagements for clients, including serving as a community manager for clients' social spaces (e.g., Facebook pages, Twitter feeds)
Maintain awareness of new social media marketing techniques being used by others, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop completely new techniques
Track success of social media marketing programs
Organize results and findings into presentations under the direction of senior team members
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate:
Can leverage the Internet for research and analysis
Is very familiar with all major forms of social media and has actively cultivated his/her own network on at least one of the social media sites
Has an intellectual curiosity (always asking "why?" and ?what next??)
Possesses excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Works well with cross-functional teams
Can Produce PowerPoint slides effectively on his/her own or from "skeleton" slides from project lead
Is analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities
Is self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision in a fast-moving, relatively unstructured environment
Experience with financial industry, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2-4 years experience in related field (e.g., interactive agency, marketing, advertising, market research, public relations)
Digital marketing or social media marketing experience preferred
Experience working with Radian6 or other social listening tools
Financial Services experience is a strong plus
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Basic understanding of SEO and SEM a plus
