Parse.ly tracks billions of pageviews per month and counts many of the world's biggest media companies as customers. But, we're looking to grow, and you can help!
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking to hire someone to be the online face and voice at Parse.ly. You must be able to communicate and be a liaison to both the customers and organization. You should be obsessed with with generating customer ideas, new product suggestions, industry trend data, and innovative exchanges. You should not only be interested in completing tasks, but should strive to improve processes to make our company more efficient. As an early employee you?ll be working directly with executives at Parse.ly, and your work will directly impact most aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades who can wear multiple hats and work on a variety of things throughout the day.
Manage the company's presence on social networks
Curate and create content for company blog that adds value to the digital media at large
Support public relations efforts by building relationship with media contacts
Moderate user and relevant community forums to promote Parse.ly, resolve issues, and gather feedback
Outline, execute and measure amazing outreach initiatives that drive participation and engagement at scale
Measure effectiveness through reports on social media metrics such as reach, engagement, conversion and leads
Conceptualize, negotiate, plan and execute events to help with marketing and engagement
1-2 years proven success as an online Community Manager preferably for a SaaS and/or B2B company
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Deep understanding of social media and best practices
Creative marketing sense and willingness to take risks on new ideas
Excellent time and project management skills
Expert at Microsoft Office Suite and Google products like GMail, Google Docs, Calendar
Experience with or an interest in Startup culture
