Community Marketing Specialist Rave Mobile Safety

We are seeking a Community Marketing Specialist to help grow the community outreach program and awareness of Smart911 across the country. This person will report to the Community Marketing Manager and be responsible for working in partnership with our client communities to inspire and achieve citizen participation.Key Responsibilities:
Proactive partnerships with local communities to lead effective local and regional marketing campaigns to increase brand presence and awareness among citizens
Providing best practices to client communities
Supporting press launches and PR efforts
Providing regular communication and accountability with client communities
Developing partnerships with community or advocacy (non-profit) organizations
Ability to speak to various levels of community leaders including police, fire, 9-1-1, community groups and citizens
Assist with maintaining client calendars including deadlines and goals, key events and activities and setting up meetings and webinars
Travel and present at customer sites (up to 35%)
Required Skills:
2-3 years of marketing, communications or project management experience
High-energy multi-tasker with the ability to juggle many people, projects and deadlines pleasantly and competently
Ability to interact professionally with different types of people including senior customer contacts
Experience with the full Microsoft office suite of products
Ability to present well to groups of all sizes and varying degrees of seniority
Passion for the Smart911 mission which is to protect millions of lives
The ability to write well including email correspondence, blogs, website content and articles
College Degree ? preferably in marketing or communications
A team player ? willing to pitch in when needed and understands that we are an integrated company where every department assists one another
Desired Skills:
Preference will be given to those with social media experience and/or the desire to learn
Compensation package commensurate with experience.
