Our community members consist of inventors, creatives, customers, and the curious of heart - your goal is to make them feel welcome, served, and cared for during every interaction with Quirky. Your day to day will be split between answering the phone at lightning speeds, replying to email inquiries so efficiently the sender ends the day as knowledgeable about how to answer their question as you are, and diligently responding to threads in our support forum with answers so comprehensive future visitors can always find the answer they are looking for. You will work closely with our Community Director, Invention Ambassadors, and other Community Support staff to provide the best experience possible for each and every member of the Quirky community.
Welcome and walk inventors through the Quirky process. Convince them that we're the right partners for bringing their product ideas to life.
Help community members navigate Quirky's unique product development process.
Ensure our online shoppers can find what they want, when they want it, quickly and painlessly. If there is a problem with their order, you will move mountains to ensure it is fixed and they are ready to continue shopping.
Constantly strive to make Quirky community support better, faster, and funner.
Manage Quarterly projects in addition to daily customer requests.
Work closely with Platform Engineering and Platform Design teams to improve and add to the Quirky invention and e-Commerce platforms.
1-3 years of experience in a public facing role.
EXCELLENT writing and speaking ability.
Ability to organize and respond to a high volume of emails, phone calls, and support forum posts daily.
Confident, convincing, and contagious personality.
Eagerness to learn about all aspects of our operation, in excruciating detail, so you can explain everything patiently and accurately.
Flexibility with working hours. Quirky's service hours are from 9am to 9pm, five days a week.
Desire and ability to wear many hats and throw down when necessary... you'll help with marketing, pr, events, packaging, and more!
Able to understand complexities, simplify them, and explain them to others.
Attention to details and quick follow through.
Above all else, have a passion for what we're doing at Quirky!
1-3 years of experience supporting a top tier eCommerce platform
Community management experience
Working knowledge of CRMs such as Zendesk, Salesforce, and (preferably) Desk.com.
Experience using Netsuite ERP and/or CRM
Fluency in a language other than English (French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese earn you double bonus points)
