The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the Company?s compensation programs.
Responsible for job evaluation, compensation surveys and salary and incentive plan analysis and administration. Uses subject matter expertise and knowledge of our internal business areas and roles and Jenzabar?s compensation philosophy to advise and make recommendations on compensation programs.
Will manage all areas of compensation to include commission, utilization and all bonus programs. Actively participates in cross-functional human resources projects and initiatives with all Human Resources team members.
?Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of employee compensation policies and programs. Assists in the evaluation of current compensation programs and makes recommendations for improvements.
?Conducts job evaluations using both a job evaluation tool and market analyses to determine appropriate classification level and salary grade according to compensation guidelines and policy. Partners with HR and/or manager to gain a better understanding of role. Reviews jobs for determination of FLSA status. Ensure proper assignment of job characteristics in the HRIS and audits for consistency.
?Completes salary survey submissions and analyze results. Review market data on an regular basis to determine market movements.
?Conduct compensation analyses including base compensation and short and long-term incentives which will include gathering and analyzing data.
?Assist in the preparation and review of materials for the Senior team review.
?Create and maintain compensation databases to support incentive modeling, accruals, payments, participant payment statements and other analysis and reporting as requested.
?Assist in the administration of the Fidelity plans to include plan preparation and 5500 preparation.
?Interfaces with HR Management System on compensation related systems, requirements and tools.
?Participates in the development of tools to assist managers in understanding the compensation philosophies of the organization and to guide managers through compensation decisions. Provides training to HR and managers on new programs and procedures.
?Consults with and advises managers on compensation policy and guidance, compensation-related best practices, and compensation data and decisions including salary offers for new hires, promotions, and transfers utilizing both internal and external equity data.
?Bachelors in human resources, business, finance or a related field
?Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation
?Excellent consultation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
?Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyze a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations, and to present such in clear, concise and easily understandable manner
?Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
?Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines
?Solid knowledge of compensation theory, principles, design and practices and the regulatory environment surrounding compensation, especially the Fair Labor Standards Act
?Good skills in the design and delivery of compensation materials.
?Knowledge of survey data and sources and market pricing techniques
?Advanced knowledge and expertise in the use of Excel and Microsoft Access to analyze data and to administer compensation programs.
?Knowledge of HRIS and how job codes and jobs, pay structures, and other components of compensation are set-up and maintained.
