The Compensation Analyst will oversee global compensation strategies and design to ensure that company's policies and practices are meeting the needs of the organization. The job will require excellent analytical and communication skills to drive change and quality in the execution of all of Specific Media?s compensation programs. This role will be the content expert on issues pertaining to compensation, pay structures and equity compensation, specifically as it relates to sales commission plans and bonus comp plans.

Develop and implement base, variable and equity compensation programs at every level of the organization, including sales employees to attract, retain, motivate and develop employees
Work closely with Human Resources, Finance and Accounting departments to assess current compensation practices and recommend solutions
Assist in the design of effective and useful tools to minimize inefficiencies in compensation processes
Analyze compensation metrics and develop insights and recommendations
Develop, prepare and distribute compensation communication materials
Provide effective, creative, and informed compensation services and training to our business units and internal customers
Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan
Work with international divisions to ensure consistent global compensation programs are uniformly administered
Demonstrate strong and easily referenced capabilities to influence decision makers and build relationships at all levels of the organization
Manage the annual incentive programs for management and sales
Create the Salary Administration Program
Provide support and guidance with mergers and acquisitions
RequirementsEXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 4-6 years previous experience in a public company preferably in human resources roles or Finance with an emphasis on compensation design and execution.
Experience developing and implementing sales bonus/commission plans
Analytical and creative problem solving, questioning and feedback skills
Impeccable verbal/written communication skills are a must
Ability to articulate and distill complex compensation issues
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
An understanding of corporate etiquette and the ability to ask the right questions to understand the true business needs is essential
Customer service oriented with a strong commitment to quality
Experience within the Online Media industry is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite with expert level skills in Excel and must be comfortable with compensation and financial modeling.
Computer competence and the ability to utilize media effectively
Ability to take initiatives and work fluidly in changing environments
Bachelor?s degree required.
