Provide customer-focused compensation consultation at all levels of the Company. Duties include job analysis, survey analysis, annual review processes, and other duties as assigned.
? Evaluates present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of trends to ensure plans are competitive and current.
? Serves as a strategic partner providing job evaluation and grade recommendations
? Responsible for development and administration of company-wide employee recognition programs to motivate high performance and create a culture of recognition.
? Conducts research and analysis of Executive Compensation including market evaluation and benchmarking.
? Conducts scheduled and ad hoc auditing of compensation-related employee data and works with managers and HR contacts to correct issues to ensure data integrity.
? Coordinates FLSA conversions.
? Coordinates and communicates incentive plan conversions.
? Educates managers on compensation-related topics including job evaluation processes and tools.
? Assists with Halogen (Performance Management System) functionality, administration and maintenance.
? Actively participates in departmental reorganizations to ensure appropriate organizational/job structures and appropriate application of compensation philosophy.
? Responsible for creating composites and ensuring data accuracy in Salary.com CompAnalyst tool.
? Manage and maintain company wide job evaluation system.
? Prepare proposals and recommendations for revisions and improvements to current practices.
? Provides analysis, expertise and consultative services to managers in developing job descriptions and determining appropriate compensation for positions.
? Develop and monitor job descriptions.
? Perform job analysis and maintain integrity of salary grading systems.
? Ensure compliance with FLSA regulation.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements)
? Strong analytical skills.
? Knowledge of related law, regulation, and theory.
? Knowledge of compensation plans.
? Must be able to work independently, and able to use extensive independent judgment.
? Must be able to make decisions regarding issues that arise while performing essential functions stated above.
? Must be able to plan and organize multi tasks effectively, and prioritize among numerous issues that may arise.
? Strong communication and people skills, at all levels of the organization.
Training and Experience
? College degree or equivalent preferred.
? 2-4 years experience in Compensation administration.
? Applicable certification in compensation helpful.
? Extensive experience with computer applications (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) and HRIS systems required.
