Who We Want:
The candidate we're looking for will manage and coordinate SailPoint's Compensation and Benefits planning. This person will develop and implement new and revised compensation and benefits programs, policies, procedures, in order to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. Directs the design, selection and implementation of HRIS and other SaaS based applications and manages the maintenance and accuracy of employee data for reporting and distribution.
Compliance with federal and state Regulations
Budget planning and analysis
Strategic design and implementation of all benefit plans
Compensation analysis and planning cycles
Employee communications on benefit plans
Compensation, Benefits & HRIS
Establishes and develops progressive, competitive benefit and compensation programs that attract, motivate and retain employees
Works with IT staff to ensure that the HRIS meets compensation and benefits needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, benefit plans, etc.
Assures company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Supervises and/or prepares reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as IRS, DOL, insurance commissioners and other regulatory agencies
Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to compensation and benefits and reports and/or suggests necessary changes to management
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures; recommending plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to management and employees
Participates in compensation and benefit surveys
Works closely with recruiting to review and consult on the development of and pricing of new job descriptions/positions
Budgets, manages and administers company?s international stock option plan
Expertise in federal, state and tax regulations
Confidentiality is a must
Knowledge of compensation practices
Knowledge of stock incentive plans of varying types
Knowledge of benefits including health and welfare plans, plan design, equity, etc.
Government regulations as they apply to compensation base and incentive compensation programs; company policies and operations.
Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations such as FLSA, Texas Payday Law, etc.
Prefer experience in high tech
IPO experience a plus
5-7 years of experience in compensation, benefits and HRIS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent
