Description:
Plateau is seeking an experienced Compensation Consultant. This position will be located at our Headquarters office in Arlington, VA or in our Boston area office. This person will work directly with customers to assist them in the implementation of Plateau software. This position requires as much as 50 travel.
This job requires excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to be able to efficiently communicate to clients at all levels within the organization. This job also requires the ability to multi-task as you will likely be assigned more than one project at any one point in time. The person filling this job will require little supervision to perform the job responsibilities.
Job Duties include:
Facilitation and participation of client meetings, interviews, and working sessions
Define customer compensation business requirements, prepare gap analysis and configuration design documents
Work directly with customer personnel and Plateau services team to define and specify application requirements
Lead portions of the design effort for implementation projects
Design for application functionality, data structures, integration with other data sources and destinations, user interface functionality, workflow, data migration strategies, etc.
Assist with project plan development and tracking
Functional and technical analysis
Completion of related implementation deliverables
Issue and budget management support
Serve as liaison between client and Plateau organization
Offer and make recommendations throughout project on industry best practices and proven methodologies and approaches
Completion of project deliverables
Quality assurance to ensure a successful client implementation
Assistance with project plan development and tracking
Work both autonomously and in team environment
Issue identification and resolution
Required qualifications:
5 years minimum of relevant consulting experience
3 years minimum relevant compensation experience
Extensive HRIS experience implementing application software solutions - compensation exposure a plus
Extensive Compensation Administration experience to include one or more of the following:
o Basic Compensation
o Short-term Incentive Compensation
o Long-term Incentive Compensation
A./B.S. or equivalent experience
Consulting experience coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to deal with complex customer service issues, using diplomacy, professionalism, and tact
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Project Management Experience preferred
