Compliance Manager Globus Medical
Description
The Compliance Manager will manage essential functions of Globus? Corporate Compliance Program in coordination with Chief Compliance Officer. Responsibilities will be both domestic and international and include the corporate compliance training program, international compliance, annual needs assessments, investigations and internal communications. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing compliance and continued development of Globus? Corporate Compliance Program. The Compliance Manager will enhance processes and systems and assist in structuring programs to ensure the processes are efficient and comply with policies, codes, laws, and regulations impacting business operations. This position will report to the Chief Compliance Officer.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for implementation and continuous improvement to:
-Developing, managing and delivering online and live compliance training programs
-Leading and supporting ad hoc compliance related projects
-Engage in global compliance function including auditing global business practices and ensuring compliance with U.S. and global laws relating to international business activities.
- Working with key stakeholders in developing annual needs assessments
Improving and streamlining processes and procedures
-Investigating compliance related allegations
-Supporting business partners with specific compliance related issues
-Ensuring that employees receive appropriate communications regarding their compliance training assignments
-Identifying and communicating compliance risks associated with commercial programs or practices
-Assist in compliance audits of company policies
-Assist in development of compliance-based reports
-Support the project based work of the departments
-Other duties as required
Qualifications
-Bachelor?s degree
-5 to 10 years related business experience
-5+ years experience with healthcare compliance
-3+ years experience with healthcare compliance training or international compliance
-Medical device experience is preferred but not required
-A working understanding of healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
-Demonstrated leadership and teaching ability
-Demonstrated project management experience and problem solving as a member of a cross functional team
-Able to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines and also an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands/needs
-Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and professional demeanor are critical
-Demonstrates high ethical standards
-Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills
-Superior organization skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Must be detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
