Compliance Manager Mindspark

In this role, you will manage and grow a team of dedicated Compliance Associates as well as be responsible for vetting prospective partners, reviewing partner web sites and software for compliance with Ask Partner Network guidelines, and monitoring partner performance to ensure compliance with both APN guidelines and the terms of our legal agreements. You will need to react to a high volume of compliance requests in an efficient and timely fashion, and communicate frequently about new and known issues. Internet savvy is essential; experience in online compliance, brand policy or IP issues is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the attorneys and business teams to resolve partner/compliance issues
Manage and grow a team of Compliance Associates
Identification and resolution of issues in a quick and efficient manner
Note trends in types of issues and help develop clear responses and policies
Communicate rules/violations to stakeholders clearly, objectively and patiently
Constantly evaluate processes in order to determine necessary changes
Documentation of actions needed and recommendations to move forward
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications
BA/BS degree, paralegal certification or equivalent experience
Experience managing a team within a legal or compliance division
2 + years experience within a legal or compliance division of a technology company focused on discovery, compliance, or IP related issues
2 + years experience working with Attorneys and business teams identifying and resolving technology compliance violations
Strong interest in technology compliance and policy
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills; detail oriented, organized and efficient
