Compliance Product Manager DriveCam

DriveCam has an immediate opportunity for a Compliance Product Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. The individual will manage the lifecycle of RAIR Compliance products from concept through market launch to end-of-life. The Compliance Product Manager will serve as the conduit between the customer community, the development team and marketing. The successful product manager will work cross functionally with other departments to ensure the commercial success of the product.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with strategy leaders to create and lead the product vision that incorporates the needs of RAIR users and achieves DriveCam?s business objectives
Evangelize RAIR compliance product vision internally and externally
Elicit requirements from customers and internal stakeholders, using interviews, site visits, surveys and other techniques to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Ensure product meets business needs. Partner with customers, external stakeholders and internal stakeholders to create business cases and Product Requirement Documents (PRD?s) to ensure the product meets client, business and revenue needs
Participate in requirements prioritizations, balancing Client needs with future Compliance product direction and industry needs.
Own Client facing communications as it relates to new feature and product enhancement requests
Facilitate and coordinate market launch, ensuring that all internal and external stakeholders are prepared to go to market.
Assist in the development high-impact internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our products
Assist in the development of product collateral including datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, and technical documentation
Review and edit RFP responses and other important sales proposals
Coordinate closely with marketing and sales to ensure effective delivery of service positioning to the market
Skills and Experience
Technical Bachelor?s degree required, MBA preferred
5+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent
Hands-on experience in uncovering the customer?s pain points and perspective
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Team player with strong negotiation & diplomacy skills
Experience collaborating across virtual cross-functional teams
Product management experience with SaaS applications
Proven track record of deploying successful offerings
Deep DOT and Regulatory background and knowledge in Transportation industry
Strong customer focus and problem resolution skills
Experience working in an Agile environment
