Aurora Flight Sciences is seeking a multiple Composite Lay-up Technician, for our 2nd and 3rd shifts to join our growing team in our Bridgeport WV facility. This position requires an action and results oriented individual who can effectively achieve demanding development and production goals. This individual must also be able to interact and communicate at all levels of the organization.
The Composite Lay-up Technician will accomplishing detail part fabrication using pre-preg fabric using lay-up techniques per Aurora procedures.
Job Qualifications (basic job description): Fabrication of composite details using Carbon fiber materials by hand lay-up application to mold tools.
Specific Responsibilities:
Use of manual and small power tools to shape and form simple and complex mock-up Components.
Handling, mixing and applying of various resin/catalyst materials
Paperwork processes that follow each procedure
Minimum Requirements (education and experience):
General knowledge of hand tools
Ability to use precision measurement devices
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
High school diploma or GED
General knowledge of fiberglass application (Auto or marine experience)
Physical Requirements: Be able to stand for entire shift period; lift/carry up to 25lbs
Shift Requirements (specify if irregular work hours or shift work will be required):
Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
MUST be a US Person or Permanent Resident Green Card Holder.
