Established Organization is looking for a Back End Programmer. Candidate will work with a team of developers to support major brokerage client.Required Skills:
Programmer with minimum 2 years experience with Java and Database programming.
Candidate must demonstrate experience and proficiency with Weblogic, Oracle and UNIX.
Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot existing code and make modifications to remedy issues.
Must be able to review business/functional requirements, and provide detailed design specifications and estimates of work required.
Ability to translate project design into code, working within an existing Java framework.
Must meet tight deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously.
Must be able to work within a team environment as well as work independently on projects.
Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
Will consider other J2EE and SQL server experience for the right candidate.
A background in financial/brokerage industry is a plus.

Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
