Computer Systems Analyst (Managing Consultant)
El Segundo, California
Analyze strategic business needs and software solutions for enterprise level electronic data processing systems and other applications. Specifically, will be responsible for leading client and consultant teams in adopting new requirements definition processes, working with the client to define the project scope and deliverables, leading requirements elicitation meetings, collaborating with the account teams, and delivering iRise training. Recommends changes to client process and methodologies following understanding of common application development methodologies. Utilize previous experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise systems to advise clients on defining project scope including defining appropriate roles, reviewing project portfolios, recommending appropriate categorizations for projects/resources, defining communication and training plans. Consult with client to ascertain and define need or problem area, and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution. Conduct study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for solution. Advise client on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution. May negotiate contract for consulting service.
Employer will accept a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer software-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. Enterprise system implementations and maintenance for large and medium size corporations in multiple industries;
2. Collaborative platforms Sharepoint and Wiki Management;
3. Project Management;
4. Define and customize common SDLC;
5. Meeting Facilitation;
6. Prototyping and Wireframes;
7. Conceptualize Database Concepts;
8. Delivery of end user training classes;
9. User Interface Design and User Experience;
10. Web Application Programming and HTML (Basic Knowledge); and
11. Image Editing and Asset Library Management tools.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and abroad: at least 70% travel is required.
