The Configuration Analyst is the product expert and technical liaison to the customer site administrators and reseller deployment teams who engages as soon as the Rearden Commerce deployment team begins to roll off the site deployment project. Using “Service Request†tickets or emails, work orders (SOWs), and regularly scheduled reviews, the Configuration Analyst works with the account team to expand services, implement new features, and perform configuration tasks. The Configuration Analyst will conduct proactive site reviews (site optimization), create scoping documentation (SOW task lists and estimates), produce status reports on outstanding technical issues or projects, and may serve as a named point of contact in any phase of the client relationship.

The Configuration Analyst also works directly with the Reseller site administrators to train and consult on best practices for deploying new sites, features and services; answers technical deployment-related questions, and coordinates integration activities with 3^rd party resources such as ETSI, ITA, or other internal teams.

• Research and respond to client service requests in accordance with service agreements and SLAs.
• Create task lists, scope documents and SOWs for billable service requests.
• Produce status reports for outstanding client issues, tasks and projects.
• Assess impact and ROI for open defects & RFEs; advocate for client
• Use approved procedures to deploy and test new products, features, and requested changes before releasing to production.
• Maintain client specific “test sitesâ€.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of current and pre-released products and services.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams and internal initiatives.

Technical Qualifications:

• Familiarity with general technologies such as database, web & ecommerce web applications, network basics
• Proficiency with MSOffice suite, XML, HTML, JavaScript
• Travel agency operations background and/or thorough understanding of agency processes strongly preferred, including experience with one or more GDS systems, mid-office products (scripts, QA products & tools), online booking systems, faring & ticketing

Undergraduate degree or certification in business or technical disciplines desirable but not required.
