If so, we would like to talk to you about joining the Configuration Engineering Team at Ping Identity As a Configuration Engineer at Ping Identity, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of complex application server environments for our development team. We used technologies such as VMware Lab Manager and Openstack to help facilitate the creation numerous complex configurations. We work closely with our Test Automation, Adapter, Development, and SQE teams providing them with systems runway, keeping them focused on delivering high quality product in short, iterative cycles. This role is critical to the overall velocity, productivity and success of the product development initiatives.

Job Functions
At Ping Identity, a Configuration Engineer:
Configures systems for subsystem and system-level testing necessary to ensure incremental quality in all releases.
Works to resolve configuration issues.
Builds and maintains knowledge base of environments and status of components.
Works ahead of development and SQE streams ensuring configured systems ?runway? exists.
Collects status of environment usage and contributes to asset audits and reporting.
Performs administration of common tools used by the development team.
Active in configuration automation to expedite setup of customer-like configurations.
Works closely with Response Engineering and Global Client Services in support of 3rd party environment configuration in the field.
Keeps abreast of the latest versions of application servers and have systems runway available in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain inventory of configurations.
Work closely with other team to resolve system and product issues.
Participates in using, maintaining, and extending tools necessary for configuration work.
Essential Qualifications
3 to 6+ years experience as a systems administrator supporting enterprise-level commercial software development environments and third party application setup and support.

Important: Ability to work in complex setups and configuration. Configuration and troubleshooting of web/application servers and/or IT Networking.
