Configuration Management Engineer Venafi

Responsibilities:

Venafi is looking for seasoned Configuration Management Engineer. This individual will maintain Venafi?s build environments. Job responsibilities include:

Maintaining and expanding Venafi?s build environment.
Creating and maintaining Installation and Update packages.
Implementing and documenting Build Management best practices.
Implementing and documenting Release Management best practices.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Experience working with Subversion/SVN and or CVS
Extensive knowledge around maintaining source trees, including but not limited to branches and tags.
Build Automation
Python experience
C# Development Experience
Experience with creating scripts (eg. Bash, Batch, Power Shell, Perl, Expect)
A self-starting mentality with an ability to identify issues and create plans to address them in a collaborative environment
Meticulous attention to detail, organization and clear communications.
Experience with Visual Studio and MS Build
Experience with Unix and Linux systems
Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Preferred Experience:

Experience with the following tools:
Autotools
make
gcc
libtool
Strong technical skills (installation, configuration, operating systems acumen, etc.)
Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL experience
Detailed knowledge of Unix and Linux systems
C Development Experience
Knowledge of VMWare ESX or ESXi
