We are looking for a talented Configuration & Release Management Lead to join our growing Technology team in Bedminster, New Jersey. The ideal candidate needs to be energetic and ready for a fast paced environment. Attention to detail and being organized is critical.Responsibilities:
Work with our Development and QA staff in testing, configuring, staging and deploying new systems to QA & production.
Work with our Production Support staff in handing over new systems, new versions and detailing changes to the production environment.
Develops and maintain technical support documentation & inventories.
Works with development to automate builds and software deployments.
Work with counterparties to ensure systems are optimally configured.
Work with different business and technical groups to troubleshoot issues.
Performs post release testing after application upgrades and/or releases.
Maintain organization release schedules.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with the following is important (Team Foundation Server (TFS), SQL, Windows desktop & Windows Server, IIS, Unix, TCP/IP, Vendor applications, Code Control Systems, Ticketing Systems)
Must be able to demonstrate technical problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be prepared to recognize process deficiencies, propose and implement guidelines and standards.
Must be well versed in a scripting language on either Microsoft or UNIX platform
Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills.
Exposure to HTML, .net, and all Microsoft products is a plus.
Exposure to Trading Systems is a big plus.
Exposure to automated release management methodologies is a plus.
